Children & Youth
At St. Paul’s we don’t subscribe to the view that children are merely the future of the Church, rather we believe that they are part of the Church here and now. As such we try to provide opportunities for their spiritual growth and nurture, helping parents and carers meet the often daunting challenge of sharing their faith and instilling their values in their children.
Sunday Morning hosts activities in the vestry during the first part of the service for our younger children. These activities are craft based and relate to the main theme of the day and the children rejoin the main service prior to Communion.
Worship for All is a shorter, lively service that takes place on the third Sunday of every month. The children remain in church for the whole service which is more accessible than our regular Communion service. Don't worry about the noise, bring them anyway and enjoy yourself too!
Messy Church is just what it says on the tin; a chance for children and carers to learn about God through art, crafts, activities, and laid-back worship, while being as messy as they want to be. Meets 4:00- 5:30pm on the 1st Sunday of the month in the Parish Hall and includes sharing a meal at the end.
Songs & Stories is our Parent and Toddler group (Pre-school aged) that meets in the Parish Hall adjacent to St. Paul’s Thursday mornings (9.30 - 11.00am) in term-time. Feel free to join us for play, refreshments, a story, music, and craft.
Soul Survivor We take regular trips to Watford with our teenagers to worship at the Saturday night celebrations. This year's dates are May 6th and June 3rd - we leave St. Paul's around 4:15pm and return by 10pm.
